We wanted to say BIG thanks to Max Andruschenko and his family. Max relocated to Afghanistan from the United States to establish the first CrossFit gym in the country. His wife Annie, and their seven children joined him on this exciting journey and they were all great supporters of the 2019 event, managing checkpoints, transporting equipment, and more.
Many of Bamyan’s athletes, including skiers, mountaineers and runners, now regularly train at Bamyan CrossFit which is an incredible facility within the province.
